Death, Taxes, W2s

This is Mike McGowan, Customer Care Manager, and today I'd like to help you process your W2 forms in AccountEdge for Mac and Premier Accounting for Windows. You've heard of the two certainties in life: death, taxes. But have you heard of certainty 2b? Processing W2s will be a difficult, bureaucratic endeavor that may leave you in tears. However, we've done our best to write up some instructions that will help step you through this process.

Instructions for processing W2s in AccountEdge or Premier Accounting can be found in our FAQ. If you are on the Mac and processing W2s with AccountEdge, you'll want to follow these instructions. If you are on Windows and processing W2s with Premier Accounting, you'll want to follow these instructions.

Also worth noting, we've posted some new help guides in our Support Library. If you look on the left column, you'll find an Easy Setup Guide for new users, as well as End of Year guides for both new customers and customers who are upgrading their accounting software. Please note that some of there are different versions of the End of Year guides for Mac and Windows.

From all of us at Acclivity, have a safe and happy New Year!

WHAT THE CUSTOMER REALLY NEEDS

My family runs a small nut roasting and manufacturing company. I would like to know how many other Companies like mine would like to have:

1. PRICE PER POUND THAT WOULD CALCULATE CASE TOTALS.

2. A SHIPPING WEIGHT ON INVOICES FOR THE TRUCKING COMPANIES THAT WE SHIP WITH INSTEAD OF HAVING TO CALCULATE IT MANUALLY EACH AND EVERY TIME.

3. PIECE COUNT ON PURCHASE ORDER.

4. PIECE COUNT ON THE COMPUTER SCREEN (CUTOMER ORDERS AND PURCHASE ORDERS) SO YOU CAN CONFIRM IT WITH THE CUSTOMER OR SUPPLIER INSTEAD OF HAVING TO PRINT THE ORDER TO GET THE TOTAL. IF YOU GET IT WRONG NOW YOU HAVE TO FIX IT AND THEN PRINT THE ORDER AGAIN.

Re: Death, Taxes, W2s
